Spring is approaching and it’s time for
many homeowners to clean out, tidy up and remodel the house. This time, outdoor
living areas and open kitchen designs are among the top remodeling trends for Las Vegas homes.

For the sates in the Sun Belt, like Florida,
homeowners can benefit from the outdoors nearly all year round and as spring
rolls around, many people start rethinking their outdoor living spaces.
According to the latest statistics by the National Association of Home
Builders, many homeowners want a space where they can entertain for large
parties, prepare meals for the family and happily take pleasure in the outdoors
without leaving home. This is especially true for owners of Las Vegas homes who also enjoy their time in the sun.

Scott and Theresa Collary are a primary
example of homeowners who wanted to change their current outdoor living space
into a high-end entertainment area. The couple recently invested for a
600-square-foot upgrade that includes an outdoor living cabana and a recreation
room at the back of the home. They also spent some money for electronics and
home entertainment theater.

Another
new remodeling trend this season is the renovation of kitchen spaces. Small,
outdated kitchen are being remodeled to create an open kitchen area with
expanded storage space and eating options. Several kitchen remodeling projects
can be done to improve a home’s value, such as changing countertops, building
custom cabinets with new hardware, and installing energy efficient appliances.
