Las Vegas Homes Had A Blast Celebrating Independence Day
Las Vegas homes residents along with the
tourists had a blast celebrating Independence Day with spectacular fireworks displays each weekend night. There were three nights of fireworks displays but
Monday night was the largest of them all.
The annual tradition features five station Casino properties that conduct and host fireworks shows. The Aliante Station,
Red Rock Resort,
Green Valley Ranch,
Texas Station,
and Fiesta Rancho
are the five casino stations that host fireworks displays every year, and they
did it again, spectacularly.
All parking lots were jam-packed including Green Valley Ranch’s sidewalks.
Las Vegas
homes, Ed Armendiz said, “I think it may be a new tradition.” It
was his second time attending the celebration.
The sky
lit up for nine minutes and music was played in synchronized to the fireworks
show.
The efforts
of the organizers paid off. The preparation took them four days and 700 hours
to set up the shows at the five casino stations including 100 hours in
choreographing and designing the shows. They also had to use nine miles of
wires including 63 firing batteries and 317 firing cues.
Summerlin celebrated
their Independence Day in style. Over 40,000 people were dressed in white, red
and blue as they waved the flag of America as they celebrated their freedom.
The city
of Henderson, also celebrated the Independence Day with fireworks at 9 in the
evening along with the music from the local bands.
In
Mandalay Bay, their celebration started at 9 p.m. Reggae band Mystic Roots and
fireworks show completed the night.
The whole
Las Vegas nation enjoyed the celebration. Residents lined up for a parade along
Nevada Highway which ended at Broadbent Memorial Park. Parade goers created an
enjoyable water fight and even police officers were spared from the dousing of
squirt guns.
It was
truly a momentous celebration for Las Vegas homes residents and the whole Las
Vegas nation and everyone was blown away by the fireworks shows everywhere.
