Las Vegas Realtors of Prudential Americana Group Ranks Highest in Seller Satisfaction
Las
Vegas real estate news, Jan. 3, 2009 — Prudential Real Estate
Affiliates, Inc., a Prudential Financial Inc. company, and Prudential announced
that Prudential Real Estate ranked highest in seller satisfaction according to
a study conducted by J.D. Power and Associates last 2008.
The study entitled “Highest Satisfaction for Home Sellers
among National Full Service Real Estate Firms”, measures customer satisfaction of
home buyers and sellers with major national real estate companies. The overall
satisfaction is determined by examining four factors: agent, marketing, office,
and services. On a 1000 point scale, Prudential Real-Estate achieved a score of
793 among home sellers and it also received high ratings from customers in the
marketing and office factors.
Laurie Keenan, president of Prudential Real Estate
Affiliates Inc, stated that they are very proud of this achievement as it
underscores the quality of their affiliates and their hard working sales
professionals. According to Mark Staff, chief operating officer of Prudential
Americana Group, their team of Las Vegas
Realtors works hard not only to meet, but exceed the expectations of its
clients.
The study by J.D. Power and Associates found that the real
estate sales agent remains the key to customer satisfaction with real estate
companies despite the popularity of home buying and selling resources on the
internet. A majority of sellers and buyers relies on the internet for the
buying and selling process. 68% of buyers said that they used internet tools to
help them in the buying process, while 61% of sellers reported that they used a
web site listing to market their property. Also, among sellers, online methods
are the most important aspect of marketing. Despite all that, the sales agent
still carries the greatest significance among the factors that determine
overall satisfaction for both buyers and sellers.
Although the internet provides home buyers and sellers with
the ability to perform some essential tasks, such as listing a home or looking
for a nice neighborhood to settle in, it still cannot replace a sales agent.
The expertise and knowledge that is provided by an experienced sales agent is
one of the benefits of enlisting the service of a real estate company.
The study also concluded that the average time Las Vegas Homes For Sale remained on
the market was slightly more than six months, although with home sellers
represented by top ranking real estate companies, these figures were reduced to
about five and a half months on the average.
The study was participated by 3,205 respondents who bought
or sold a home between April 2007 and June 2008.
