Las Vegas’ Top Selling Real Estate Firm Brings Home National Awards

Prudential Americana Group Achieves Seven of Prudential’s Top Ten Sales Teams Throughout North America, Including The #1 Spot

March 23, 2010 – One local company is beating the odds in Las Vegas real estate. Prudential Americana Group, Nevada’s 2009 top selling real estate company, was recently recognized for achieving seven of the top ten sales teams throughout Prudential Real Estate Affiliate (PREA) companies in North America.

In fact, Prudential’s top-selling real estate team in North America was Americana Group’s William Jorgensen team with 460 home sales in 2009. During PREA’s annual conference in Austin, the Americana Group franchise was also recognized as the eighth largest among a network of more than 600 companies.

“These are great honors,” said Mark Stark, CEO of Prudential Americana Group. “To have seven of the top ten Prudential teams in North America hail from Las Vegas shows that we are making the best out of this market to help our clients buy and sell their homes. And to have the number one team in a market some people say is dead shows just how hard we work for you.” Prudential Americana group was Las Vegas’ top-selling selling real estate company in 2009 with more than 9,300 transactions completed.

The seven teams from Prudential Americana Group earning a Top Ten spot include William Jorgensen, LLC, which was the number one team in the country. The second, third and fourth spots were held by the Beeten Team, The McCollough Group and the Steve Howell team, respectively. Americana Group’s Woolston Team occupied the sixth spot, the Zand Group came in eighth and the Craig Tann Group was the ninth largest Prudential Team in North America.

“Collectively, these seven real estate teams sold 2,624 homes in 2009,” said Stark. “I can assure you this was no easy feat. The teams that were honored are truly dedicated to their businesses and to their clients. They work around the clock to rise above the challenges of the market and economy to continue selling homes.”

Three Americana Group branch offices were recognized in PREA’s Top Ten, with the nation’s number one spot going to its Sahara branch. “Our Sahara office was recognized as the most productive office throughout Prudential’s North America network,” said Stark. “Nearly 300 sales associates worked from this office to achieve the honor.” Americana Group’s Southwest office came in third and its Green Valley office had the fourth largest sales numbers in the country.

“And our commercial division’s J. Dapper Team and McGarey Group achieved the third and fifth spots, respectively, for commercial sales in 2009,” said Stark. “In every major category, Americana Group posted at least one of the top five spots. It makes me proud to work with individuals who invest so much of their time and talents into their businesses.”

Topping off Prudential Americana Group’s accomplishments, the company was recognized as being the Prudential’s 8th largest contributor to its Sunshine Kids Foundation with more than $35,000 donated in 2009. Prudential franchises throughout the United States, Mexico and Canada contribute regularly to Sunshine Kids, an organization that helps children who have cancer.

Concurrent with the convention, Prudential Americana Group recognized its 2009 “Top Of The Rock” individual sales executives and teams locally at an event held in City Center’s Aria with guest speaker Mayor Oscar Goodman. At the event, the company recognized Employee Of The Year Linda Young. Young is the company’s corporate receptionist.
