Trends for Las Vegas Homes

Walk into the American Red Cross 2009
Designers’ Show House and it will look like business as usual: a custom-built box inlaid
with mother of pearl imported from the Middle East in the “Glamour Girl”
bedroom; a totally remodeled kitchen with countertops of French blue limestone,
appliances in oil-rubbed bronze; and a pair of barrel shade chandeliers from
Jacques Garcia for Baker.

In spite of the high-end glitz, the
show room also delivers a few low-cost ideas you can take and a treasure trove of goodies to take away with you as you go home.

“To me, these display case houses are
like the runways of the fashion world,” says Joseph Pubillones, a Palm Beach,
Fla., designer who produced “Midnight at the Oasis,” a pub room in a Moroccan
theme with tented ceiling and broad horizontal lined walls stirred by the
mosques in northern Africa.

“You have to do stuff that are a modest, unforeseen
and untested. You have to drive the packet to suggest a letter or idea. It’s
about an idea, a kind of wow. It is not about an exact alteration to your home.
You can see it and get an idea.”

Whether the ideas are soaring in the
“wow” aspect or concepts you can take, we have other things you shouldn’t miss.

  • Foyers. The entrance should let theguests see a little into core
or at least expose some awesome features of Las Vegas homes.
  • Enjoyoutdoor
    life.
The southern weather is perfect for outdoor
rooms, and on the next floor terrace wide enough to be divided into three
areas-one for dining flanked by two tête-à-tête areas.
  • Wallpaper. It’s an interior designer’s magic to put wallpaper insides of
bookshelves to add interest and wrapthe imperfections.
  • Collections. Collections also look healthier when used as a whole package.
Why not coat your fixtures to create a black-and-white room?
  • Scaling. You don’t have to make use of the linen mens wear cloth on
the chair spaces, but you can make use of a similar look and duplicate the embellished
    detail.
  • Bathroom. You can save more by buying less expensive long curtains, countertops
and repainting yourself. Bring out the artist in you to make your Las Vegas homes
    trendy.
