Mark Stark Named Prudential Real Estate’s Broker Of The Year
Prudential chief Earl Lee makes announcement at national convention in Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS (March 15, 2013) Mark Stark, CEO of Americana Holdings, was named Prudential Real Estate’s 2013 Broker Of The Year at its annual convention in Las Vegas this week. Stark operates Prudential Americana Group in Nevada and Prudential Arizona Properties. They are the largest Prudential organizations in Nevada and Arizona. During the convention, several Americana sales executives were also recognized in the Top 10 and Top 100 for sales and closings. The company also jumped from being the sixth most productive brokerage in the Prudential Real Estate network in 2011 to being the fourth most productive in 2012.
Stark was recognized by Earl Lee, CEO of HSF Affiliates LLC and President of Prudential Real Estate. “This award speaks for the highest levels of excellence, considering that Prudential Real Estate has many of the industry’s finest broker/owners among its ranks,” said Lee. “Honorees are selected for their amazing business sense, artful leadership and lasting consistency.”
Stark began his real estate career in 1985 with a company that would eventually become Prudential Americana Group, REALTORs. He became its CEO in 1997 and acquired 100 percent ownership in 2004. He remains the company’s sole owner and in 2011 added Prudential Arizona Properties to his franchise.
When presenting Stark with the award, Lee said “he is as smart as he is courageous, aggressively growing his company when others retreated. He is a masterful motivator, connecting with agents and employees like few others can.”
Lee also recognized Stark’s commitment to his team of nearly 2,000 real estate professionals and employees in Nevada and Arizona. “He is a wonderful teacher, helping people achieve far beyond their personal expectations.” Of Stark’s trademark positivity, Lee said “he is a relentless optimist, seeing the bright side in even the darkest situations.”
Stark’s Prudential franchise posted $2.4 billion in sales volume in 2012, with more than 11,000 transactions. “It is one of the industry’s fastest-growing real estate brokerages,” said Lee. “The company sells more listings (homes) at a higher value than any other real estate company in its marketplace.”
“Yet, in the middle of all this commerce, the company never loses site of its mission to help others,” said Lee. “It gives back to the communities it serves through support of The Sunshine Kids Foundation, Toys for Tots, Opportunity Village and Move for Hunger.”
Stark owns and operates Prudential Real Estate’s fourth largest franchise in North America, Americana Holdings, which includes Prudential Americana Group and Prudential Arizona Properties. Combined, this award-winning company has 21 offices and nearly 2,000 real estate sales executives. It is home to some of the country’s top-selling real estate professionals and has been recognized by JD Power and Associates multiple times for its commitment to customer service.
Prudential Americana Group was ranked #20 in RIS Media’s 24th Annual Power Broker Survey of the country’s top 300 real estate companies http://remag.rismedia.com/t/14873.
In 2012 Prudential Americana Group was named a “Best Place To Work” in Southern Nevada and was included in the prestigious Inc. 5000 listing of America’s top private companies. Prudential Americana Group also houses a fully accredited real estate school with free Continuing Education classes every month.
