Las Vegas Real Estate market continues to heal with 24.9 percent home-price gain

Our Las Vegas Real Estate market continues to see signs of healing with 24.9 percent home-price gain.

According to the Las Vegas Review Journal U.S. home prices have risen 12.1 percent in June compared with the same month last year.  Las Vegas is now leading other U.S cities with a 24.9 percent gain in home prices. A much better ranking than number 1 in Foreclosures.

However even with these price gains the month-over-month gains have slowed in most markets, possibly because higher mortgage rates are weighing on the housing market recovery.
