The great room, dining room and kitchen are part of an open floor plan that flows into the outdoors for easy entertaining.
The 12,445-square-foot home has a mostly gray palette and a kitchen with clean lines.
The master is one of five bedrooms, each with its own bathroom.
The backyard of the home at 19 Flying Cloud Lane has unobstructed mountain views.
Vegas Golden Knights owner Bill Foley has traded in his luxury home in The Ridges for one he had built nearby in the uber-luxurious Summit Club in Summerlin.
Foley and his wife, Carol, have placed their home on the market for $9.5 million. The two-story home at 19 Flying Cloud Lane is in Azure, a separate, gated section of The Ridges. The house sits on a lot that is just under 1 acre, and measures 12,445 square feet.
Ivan Sher, principal with the Ivan Sher Group of Berkshire Hathaway, which is listing the home, called it “the epitome of modern luxury” with an open layout created for indoor-outdoor living.
The great room spans the entire main level and features a contemporary palette of gray with an array of textures.
“It’s open so the inside becomes the outside and has this great entertainment and livability factor,” Sher said. “It’s pretty sensational.”
The upstairs has a theater room with reclining chairs and couch, and a second master bedroom. An elevator provides easy access.
On the same side as the first-floor master bedroom are two additional bedrooms with bathrooms. A fourth bedroom suite is situated just off the kitchen.
Floor-to-ceiling walls of windows line the great room, dining room, living room and bar area. The walls open to the outside with one touch of a button, while another button can lower the shades.
The backyard features a pool, spa, fire pit, covered pool pavilion, large grassy area and unobstructed mountain views. The large lot enhances the sense of privacy.
Rhonda Allen, with the Ivan Sher Group, is the listing agent.
