Las Vegas Realtors Sees Bright Future for 2010

Mynews3.com, Jan.3, 2010 – The year 2009
comes tough to Nevadans. Record breaking unemployment, budget problems for the
state, and sky-high Las Vegas foreclosure rates are among the top problems, but for 2010, everyone hopes for an
improvement.

Forrest Barbee, Corporate Broker for
Prudential Americana Group, mentioned that the prices for Las Vegas homes in 2010 will still continue to catch the attention
of investors and buyers, which will help the market to recover. And with these
prices, now may be the best time to buy your own home.

“We finally saw the brakes being applied to
the price drops,” says Forrest Barbee, Greater Las Vegas Association of
Realtors. “Going into 2010 we are looking for more stabilization of the market
values, even if it goes soft, up, and down a bit. But we are also looking at a
much better climate as far as working with loan modifications as well as short
sales” (Quoted from:

Las
Vegas Realtors
are optimistic about the upcoming
year. They think that the year 2010 will be a lot better compared to last year, and that the key to doing this is to create more jobs for the growing unemployed population. In the case of Nevada’s
budget deficit, most political experts deem that the governor will have to
summon a special session early this year to address this.
